  • What is the minimum purchase amount?  NONE -  
  • Do you offer layaway?  At this time, we do not offer layaway.
 
  • What are the hat sizes?     Most hats are medium-large, basically a one-size fits all, Hat fillers are available for sale for smaller head types.
 
  •  Will you share my email or other information with 3rd parties?     Absolutely not. The information given to First Lady will be for internal use only.  First Lady may occasionally send emails about specials and discounts. However, you may opt-out anytime by calling or emailing us directly. (see contact us for info)
 
  •  What are the shipping policies?     First Lady only ships within the continental U.S. All hats are personally inspected and carefully packed. Some items may have to be shipped separately. To save you money, we will attempt, whenever possible, to pack your items together in one box, but many times that is just not possible without danger of damage to hats or delicate items. If we are able to combine shipping and if combining the shipping results in a savings in shipping costs, we will reduce the order total by the amount of that savings.

    *All Shipping Rates Added at Checkout Are Based on our rates for USPS Parcel Post.  Expedited shipping/Rush order will have additional shipping cost.**
 
  • What forms of payment do you accept?  We accept Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and AMEX and Cash

    • We cannot accept hats that are worn, damaged or stained. This is a Non-Negotiable issue. Please be aware, if you return such items to us, you will incur additional shipping costs for us to send the non-returnable item back to you. To avoid this issue please be sure to wear a head covering, such as a clean unused shower cap, when you try on your new hat.

     
    No returns for alleged defects, as each and every one of our hats are inspected and verified to be FREE of defects by our Quality Assurance Specialist at time of packing. If an attempt is made to return a hat for reason of defect, a reimbursement will not occur. To return an item for any other reason, you must contact First LadyHatsbyLadyJ via email or phone. (See Contact Us for info).
     
    Please be advised that any accepted return for any reason could incur a 25% restocking fee. We do not credit postage fees.
     
    No returns due to size, color or style issues. Please Note: if you think additional photos of a hat(s) will help in your buying decision making process, please let us know and we will be happy to email additional photos to you if possible. In some cases, we can also provide hat measurements/dimensions upon request. However, please allow at least 36 hours for a response for additional photos/measurements/dimensions.
     
    Returns must be mailed (postmarked) within 3 days of receipt.
     
    Pack the hat carefully and insure the shipment. We are not responsible for hats lost or damaged in return shipping.
     
    Shipping charges are not refundable.
     
    Make sure the box you are returning the hat in is in good condition. If the box was damaged in shipping, please use a new box.
     
    Store credit may only occur when the merchandise is received back in new, unworn, unstained and undamaged condition. We do not ship defective/damaged hats to customers and we will not accept the return of a hat with defects/damage that occurred after it was received by the customer.
